About Delavan Lake Boat Rental

Delavan Lake Fishing Boat Rentals, LLC., is announcing that fishing boats are now available for rent at Delavan Lake, Lake Como and Lake Geneva. This coincides with the recent rise in fishing popularity of Delavan Lake in Walworth County, Southern Wisconsin, just East of Lake Geneva. Previously, there were no fishing boat rentals available on Delavan Lake.

Delavan Lake is a 2,072 acre lake, 56 foot maximum depth, 21 foot average depth, that is rapidly gaining a fishing reputation for great catches of Northern Pike, Muskie, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Walleye, Perch, Crappie and very large Bluegill.

Delavan Lake has been a limited access lake due to private shorelines and boat launch facilities for only 100 fishing boat rigs. You either had to own property or bring your own boat. Now fishing boat rental will be available.

This new service will provide affordable fishing opportunities on Southern Wisconsin’s most popular fishing lake.

The fishing boats will be rented through Delavan Lake Fishing Boat Rentals, LLC.

The fishing boats are 14 foot Sylvan Northwood Deep V Aluminum and will be powered by new 2007, 9.9 Johnson 4 Stroke, electric start engines, that are very user friendly.

Rental rates will be $150. Per Day, $85 for Half Day (4 hours). Hours of operation will be 6 AM – 7 PM., 7 days a week.

For more information or to reserve a boat, please call 262-745-6820 or send an email to:bkbishop@charterinternet.com  Reservations are not completed until there is a confirmation e-mail.  24 Hour Cancellation Policy.

Planning a vaca in mid Aug… what can I expect fishing to be like (historically). Also… do you feel the fish will have calmed down by then based on the recent thrash of storms in your area. I know they had to have been “spooked”. thank you.

  6. Chris Says:

one more thing… do you sell WI fishing licenses with the boat rentals? thank you

  7. denny sands Says:

Water sking, tubing, jet skies, etc.

Mid August is great Bass, Bluegill and Northern Pike fishing. All will be relating to wed beds.

  8. denny sands Says:

Despite the large rainfalls, we have had excellent Bass fishing with reports of 20-25 bass per day. Big bluegill showing up along weedlines in 10-12 feet of water. Lake is back down to normal pool.

You might want to get your license on line at :

Do you put the boat in for us or do we have to trailer it down and how far are you from Lake Geneva?

  12. Denny Sands Says:

We trailer it and put it in for you. The boats are about 5 minutes from the Williams Bay Launch at Lake Geneva.

  13. Mr. Wilson Says:

Went up to Delavan last monday (july 7th) and had a killer day. Fished the lake the week prior to get the lay of the lake. I was so impressed that I made a second trip this week and boy did it pay off.

I caught roughly 50 fish that day.

    – approximately 25 Largemouth Bass (avg. length 16-19 inches)

    – approximately 25 Northern Pike (avg. length 28 inches and TWO that topped 34 inches

I’ll send pictures to the webmaster so you can see.

  14. Denny Sands Says:

Met Mr. Wilson on Delavan Lake Monday, July 14th. I showed him where the “Hump” is located. Caught 9 Largemouth in about 40 minutes on leeches. Only one under the 18″ Limit. Largest just over 20″.

Will get pics on web site soon.
